I have been shooting this guy pudding but this is the first time I photographed one feeding. It is very difficult to shoot this guy feeding with a macro lens, I was blessed that day.

Rare Skipper
Eetion elia (White Spot Palmer), first time I have seen this guy in the feild. The white patch is unique to this skipper.

Small Grass Birds
These are really small birds, almost invisible among the grass. I have no idea what they are, just make me realize that I need a longer lens, 300mm is just too short for these guys.

Imperial
A beautiful Eooxylides tharis distanti (Branded Imperial). It gives new meaning to the color orange.
A Matter of Taste
I like the composition of this photo but many do not share the same feelings; most of them are bothered by the out of focus leaf on the right side of the frame claiming that it distracts them from the butterfly. But I guess it is ultimately personal. Hope you will share your thoughts here.
This is a Chilades pandava pandava (Cycad Blue). More pics of this butt:
Rare Beauty
Found this forest specie, Pathysa antiphates itamputi (Five Bar Swordtail) pudding. It should be male since only male (usually) puddles to obtain minerals from moisture on the ground. One of my favourite butt indeed.
Migrant
This specie, Acraea violae (Tawny Coster), some how make its way to Singapore and is now flourishing in many parts of the island.
Another Sunbird
I had to increase flash exposure to bring out the colors in the thoraxic area of this male Olive-backed Sunbird, Nectarinia jugularis

Super Delicious
Semanga superba deliciosa is a really rare find here in Singapore. It is delicious indeed!
It Is An Albatross
Appias libythea olferna (Striped Albatross). The purple flower and a rather dark green background enhanced this white beauty.
All Time Favorite
For reasons beyond me, this is one of the top favorite photo on my flckr site. Maybe it is the unadulterated simplciity of the shot.
Finally
The Delias hyparete metarete (Painted Jezebel) is rather common but is a very elusive butterfly to photography. I have been chasing them for over an hour before I got a clear shot of this one feeding.
Multi-tasking
I intruded into the privacy of this pair of Danaus chrysippus chrysippus (Plain Tiger). What is most intriguing is that while doing it, one of them is having a drink at the same time. It would be the worst insult in realm of human.
Commoner
The Elymnias hypermnestra agina (Common Palmfly) is a very common butterfly around here but it is rather difficult to get a good photo of it, I was fortunate here with a very parallel shot and a background that is unbelievable.
As New As Can Be
A newly enclosed Cethosia cyane (Leopard Lacewing) drying its wings allowing me to take multipe shots of it.
Composite
Graphium evemon eventus (Blue Jay) & Graphium sarpedon luctatius (Common Bluebottle). This is a composite of 2 photos, hope you like it. You probably won't know if I did not tell you, :)
Tiny One
Zizina otis lampa (Lesser Grass Blue), one of the smallest butterfly around here - about the size of a pinky nail.
Star And A Flower
Was trying out my new 70-300G lens, shot this Iambrix stellifer (Starry Bob) at 300mm handheld. Not too bad for a zoom lens.
Shade Lover
Arhopala amphimuta amphimuta. This a shade loving butterfly with really green eyes. Photo was take at ISO1600, handheld.
Blue Helen
A rather, fast flying and active forest specie. I had to push up ISO to 800 inorder to shoot at shutter speed of 1/1000 and yet was not able to totally freeze the fluttering wings.
Little Red Guy
This is the juvenile crimson sunbird. It looks nothing like the adult version, the hint of crimson can nevertheless be found.
Red Beauty
This is a Crimson Sunbird, Aethopygia Siparaja. I shot this at the Mandai Orchid Garden in Singapore. A red beauty that would definitely give the photographer a healthy dose of adrenalin rush.
Show Me Your Color
Anthene lycaenina miya (Pointed Ciliate Blue). Chase this guy in my estate for a while before he was confident enough to open his wings and show me his color.
